It is time for basketball season, and as in past years, Friday evenings will end for table tennis at Green Lake gym until spring.  The gym will be closed on Friday Nov 11 in observance of Veterans Day.  There will be table tennis on Friday Nov 18, but this will be the last Friday for table tennis until April.   

Tuesday evenings and Wednesday daytime table tennis times will not change.  

Also, we have new tables coming!

Three years after our successful fundraiser, we are finally getting four new (tournament used) Joola tables. They will be much like our current Joola tables except with a slightly thicker top. Thanks again to all the players who donated in order to make this happen.

Discussions are continuing regarding starting table tennis again on Saturdays and Sundays. We have been accepted by the Seattle Parks Foundation for fiscal sponsorship. GLCC coordinator, Chris Easterday, and SPR employee, Jacqueline Oaksford have made a proposal to the recreation division. We expect to hear back in a week or so.   Further updates will come as we get them.
