September 21st 2021

I know many of you have been hoping to have table tennis start up again at Green Lake Community Center. While there have been discussions regarding opening, there is still no word as to when and how it will happen. Until then, consider playing at the Chinatown/ID Community Center. They have recently expanded their hours. Information is at  https://parkways.seattle.gov/2021/04/17/drop-in-table-tennis-pilot-international-district/. (I love that their picture is of Chong coaching at Green Lake!) Besides the hours lis ...Continue Reading

Green Lake and Chinatown Table Tennis

April 23rd 2021

Seattle's International District/Chinatown Community Center is now open for table tennis by reservation only.  Hours are Tues/Thurs: 12:30p-7:30p and Sat: 10:30a-5:30p. You will need to create an account and sign up for a 2 hour time block. The cost is $3 adults, $2 seniors. They are only allowing 16 players during each 2 hour time block. I believe play is in the gym, rather than the small room. I'm not sure how many tables will be set up. Here's a direct link to the table tennis program: http ...Continue Reading

Please click into the glcc.infocommunity.org link and give your suggestions for our new community center. It is important that we all advocate for table tennis. Fundraiser - Tournament

January 31st 2020

The GLTTC is having a fundraiser to purchase 5 new ITTF approved Joola tables as replacements for our aging Killerspin tables. We are asking all players to contribute. The GLTTC was founded over 25 years ago by players who contributed money to purchase our first tables. Since that time, the community center has purchased tables, barriers, paddles, balls, the gym divider nets, and has installed tournament grade lighting. It is now our turn again. The Seattle ARC office has s ...Continue Reading
